In an extended, 14-month PBA Tour season that will transition into a new calendar-year format for 2014, the PBA Tour and ESPN released the schedule for the first five months of the 2012-2013 season. More dates will be added as the information becomes available.
The televised season begins Sunday, December 9, 2012 with the World Bowling Tour Finals presented by the PBA. The PBA World Championship will be broadcast January 13, 2013, the USBC Masters will be held February 24 and the Tournament of Champions will take place March 31. The U.S. Open, yet to be scheduled, will be contested in July, and another PBA World Championship will be decided in November of 2013 during the second World Series of Bowling of the season.
