He had to beat the first bowler from the Middle East to ever make it to a PBA Tour televised final, Fawaz Abdulla. His reward for that was a match with possibly the greatest bowler of all time, Walter Ray Williams, Jr. After dispatching the Hall of Famer, Norton simply had to get past one of the top bowlers in the world over the past few years, Jason Belmonte.
Norton's victory in the Chameleon Championship is impressive. Getting by three bowlers in one day is hard enough, but getting by these three made it that much harder.
