Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN, we'll see the stepladder finals of the Bowlers Journal Scorpion Championship. Top seed Osku Palermaa has won a title in each of the previous two World Series, and with this being his only televised appearance this time, he needs to win to keep his streak going.
Joining Palermaa are second seed Jason Belmonte, who makes more television appearances than anyone at the World Series of Bowling, third seed Jason Sterner, a six-time regional winner making his first ever TV appearance and Tom Daugherty, most famous for throwing a 100 in his only other match on TV.
Who will claim the Scorpion Championship? This will be a highly intriguing stepladder finals.
