Jason Belmonte's performance as the best overall bowler throughout the World Series of Bowling earned the top seed for the season's first major, the PBA World Championship, to be broadcast Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN. This is Belmonte's third and final chance to take a title home from the WSOB, which would be his first career major title.
Joining Belmonte in the five-man stepladder finals are two other bowlers looking for their first career major titles, #3 seed Rhino Page and #4 seed Dan MacLelland (who is also seeking his first title of any sort). Second seed Sean Rash is on a mission to compile major titles, going for his third in this tournament, and fifth seed Parker Bohn the III, who is already in the Hall of Fame, is trying to win his second career major title and 33rd title overall.
If you are even a moderate fan of bowling, I strongly suggest you don't miss this show. Five bowlers with varying styles in different stages of their careers competing for the top prize from the WSOB. They won't disappoint.
