He qualified for match play in the final spot (24th). He worked his way up to the last qualifying position for the television show (5th). Then he beat everybody and stood alone with a trophy and $50,000 check at the end.
Parker Bohn III was inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 2000, and prior to this tournament had 32 career PBA Tour titles to his name, surprisingly only one of which was a major (the 2001 USBC Masters). Now, a year away from eligibility on the PBA50 Tour, Bohn rolled through everyone on his way to the 2013 PBA World Championship.
