Common Bowling Techniques and Styles

There are many different types of bowling styles, and it's often hard to categorize a bowler's particular method. That doesn't stop us from trying, though. Here are some of the most common bowling styles.

1. Power Strokers

2. Strokers

Bowlers with a smooth, precise delivery are referred to as strokers.

3. Crankers

Bowlers who use a lot of wrist action to put a high number of revolutions and power into their shots are referred to as crankers.

4. Spinners

Bowlers who rotate the ball on a vertical axis are called spinners.

5. Tweeners
