Bowling Average

By , About.com Guide

Definition:

A bowler's average score. To figure an average, add each game score, then divide by the number of games. For example, if a bowler bowls three games, scoring 170, 175 and 180, his average will be 175.

Here's how the example looks mathematically:
(170+175+180)/3=175

Examples:
That 120 game is going to lower Brad's average.
