Guide Review - Brunswick Radical Inferno Bowling Ball

It's hard to come across this no-longer-being-manufactured ball these days, but if you can find one, give it a try. That's what I did.

When I found one of these in a store room, I wasn't optimistic. The ball had been sitting around, undrilled and collecting dust, for a couple years. I immediately took it to my local bowling center, had it drilled and threw a few games. I was surprised at the backend on the ball and found myself missing drastically left (hitting the 2 and 4 pins as a right-handed bowler). A simple lateral adjustment to my left corrected this, and soon enough the ball was blasting through the pocket and knocking down all the pins with regularity.

It's not the most powerful ball I've ever thrown, but it had enough to convince me it would be worth my time to throw some more frames with it. With this ball, if you can read the lanes and not make too many physical mistakes, you'll rack up some good scores.
