With yesterday's triumph in the PBA League Round 2, the New York City WTT KingPins jumped into the overall lead, through two of five events, in chasing the season-ending Elias Cup. The KingPins qualified as the #3 seed for this event, first defeating the Dallas Strikers, who earned the fourth seed thanks to Rhino Page throwing eight strikes in a row during the Clash Round. From there, the KingPins took down the Motown Muscle and Philadelphia Hitmen, grabbing the Round 2 title and the lead.

Closing out the show was the title match between top seed D.J. Archer and #2 seed Andres Gomez, who opened with six in a row to claim his second career title. His first title came last year, also in the Carmen Salvino Classic, giving Gomez the rare feat of repeating as a champion on the PBA Tour.
